Santa Ynez

I recently posted about going on a little trip with my friend, Carol. We went up to her Mom's house in Santa Ynez. She has a beautiful house on 5 acres. So much open space! Since I live in a busy town, it was extremely nice to get away to a quiet, spacious wonderful place. We shopped in Solvang, which is a quaint little Danish town. Had dinner out one night at a nice mexican restaurant, even sat at the table next to Bo Derick who also has a house down the street from Carol's Mom. It was so relaxing to walk around the grounds and just enjoy the nature. Her mother helped me with a knitting problem I had and I got to watch her dye her yarn into beautiful colors. We just had a wonderful time. Thank you Carol and Mrs. La Fever for having me!
