Someone dropped off a 10 week old puppy where my DD, Rachel, works yesterday. She works at Sunny Dog Place, where Holly goes for day care. They think that they just couldn't take care of her because none of the phone numbers they left are working numbers. So, of course, Rachel had to bring her home....grrrrrr. Since we already have 3 dogs, there is no way we can take another one. Rachel has already named her 'Kayla'. Here's Holly trying to be a good host. It's hard when the guest keeps taking your toys!
Rachel promised to take good care of her until we can find a good home for her. Hmmmm I've heard that before!
This picture below is Kayla cozying up to me when Rachel dropped her off in my lap on her way to the beach!
So much for promises, LOL. I just can't resist a sleeping puppy.
And this is as far as I got on my LHN sal 'He's a Flake' when I had to be Gramma to an orphan.

The puppy is cute. Your Rachel sounds an awful lot like my Sarah and Rachel both. My girls (15 and 10) want to adopt every animal who needs help. We already have 2 dogs, 2 cats and 1 rabbit, so no more here!

I hate it when people dump their animals like they're so much trash! It's great that you took her in. Good luck finding her a home...or not, as the case may be!
