TA DA!! FA LA LA !!!

I am doing the Ornament a month with the  LittleHouseCountryCottageStitcher yahoo group.  I finished the first onrnament called FALALA! It was a fun stitch because I usually have larger projects and don't get to finish that many. I switched the girls dress colors around and did the lettering in Carries Creations in Peppermint. I'm not very experienced in finishing ornaments so unfortunately it's a bit sloppy. But by the end of the year after 11 more ornaments I should be a pro!  The next ornament is called "He's a Flake"  I am impatiently anxiously waiting for my chart to arrive. I have the ornaments on 'auto ship' with Mary Kathyn at "Handcrafts Online" so I won't miss any. She has a very nice on line store where I can dream about more stash!
Also I have joined a blog called TUSAL. It's a blog about Totally Useless Sal.
and here's is my ort jar. In case you don't know what an ort is: this is an object where you put your snippets of leftover floss, yarn etc. from projects you've been working on for this year. And at at end of the year you have a beautiful colorful jar full of snippets from your creativity all year. And what do you do with all those snippets at the end of the year? nothing... that's why it's a TUSAL! LOL
No really, some people leave them outside for the birdies and whatever else to use in nesting, some people put them inside clear glass ornaments for the tree, whatever you want to do is ok.
Now I'm off to watch the Vikings beat the patoodees off the New Orleans Staints!
Update: Oh well...better luck next year!
